#259 – The Reality Of Christ In You

I recorded this at 5:30 AM yesterday, with my croaky morning voice.
But God… put something in my soul that I knew I had to share.Why do we think God is “way out there”? Because that is how He has been depicted in art for thousands of years. The old, white-bearded man, sitting on a throne, who is usually looking upset. And that image carries right through to most of our Sunday schools.

Images are very powerful. It takes effort to realize God IS actually closer than your very breath.

To embrace that God is Love, Grace, and Mercy; He around us and is in us.
I hope this blesses you, too.

He prophetically prefigured Christ, 2000 years before He came to Earth as our ultimate High Priest and King, as mentioned in both Psalms and Hebrews.

Why was she inducted? Because SHE counted Him faithful who had promised.
¹¹By faith even Sarah herself received the ability to conceive, even [when she was long] past the normal age for it, because she considered Him who had given her the promise faithful.

Abraham grew up in a pagan metropolis. He had NO Bible, he had NO examples to follow. But the One True God, Yaweh, SPOKE to him, and Abraham’s life did a complete turn around. At God’s word, he left his homeland by applying FAITH over FEAR!

Romans 15:4 says God put Abraham’s record in the Bible for our learning! To follow in his example of FAITH over FEAR, to receive the fullness of God’s blessings in our own lives, and pass it down to our children.
